To effect that desirable object the Company propose to Lease the Napier Town Hall Reserve, or some other suitable ground, and to make such im-. provements as will be considered necessary. The Income of the Company will be derivable from the rents accruing from the various Athletic Clubs, Friendly Societies, or others requiring the use of the Ground for Sports, Fetes, etc., and it is estimated that extremely moderate charges for such purposes will amount to sumcient to carry on the business of the Company and leave a balance to be devoted to further improvements and ornamentation of the Grounds, as the Shareholders deem advisable. - Sucha Ground is much required and will be an ornament and convenience to the town, and the iacilities afforded for Athletic excercise .cannot fail to be "'greatly c6nduclve ,to -health, and also the means of saving considerable expense "and inconvenience to the members of the various Clubs and Friendly Societies.'who incur heavy travelling expenses in proceeding to hold their festivities and games at a distance from town.
