The steamer Kiwi, Captain J". Campbell, left for Wellington at 3.30 p.m. yesterday,' taking several passengers, 175 bullock hides, and a quantity of pelts, tallow, and other cargo. The Union Company's steamer launch Boojum's departure for Wairoa has _.en postponed until next week, owing to the unfavorable report received of the bar at that
place. 2he steamers Maori and Result's departure for Wairoa has been indefinitely postponed owing to the bad state of th" Wairoa bar.
The ketch Maid of the Mill is discharging cargo transhipped ex the Wave Queen at ■> breastwork to-day. i'he steamer Oreti is expected to arrive here from Auckland on Friday morning.
The ketch Forest Queen discharged her cargo of wheat, at the breastwork yesterday, and is preparing gear to take in the locomotives to-day.
The hWgantine Authans left Greymouth last Sati .day for Napier ■with a cargo of coal for the Gas Company.
