The charge preferred against Mr Michael Mullooly of the larceny of a cheque from a native came on for hearing before His Honor Judge Kenny today. The accused is an hotelkeeper at Tologa Bay, and has been greatly respected in the district tor years past. The jury, without leaving the box, found tbe accused not guilty, and the jury desired to record that Mr Mullooly left the Court without a stain on his character. The verdict has given universal satisfaction.
