Five fresh cases of small-pox have been reported to the Board of Health today. Mr Forster, who was appointed Minister of Justice and Public Instruction on the retirement of Sir George Innes from tbe Cabinet, was re-elected to-day without opposition. It has transpired that Sir William Manning, one of the Puisne Judges, has been offered the primary judgeship.
