October 22. The statement published yesterday by the Daily Telegraph that a libel action was pending between Mr Cook, the manager of the Town and Country Bank, and Mr Larnach of New Zealand, is confirmed. It is stated, however, that tbe action is one of a purely personal character. October 24. Three fresh cases of small-pox have been reported to the Health Board.
