October. 22—Sir Donald, s.s., from Whangaehu. 22—Result, s.s.. .from Wairoa. Passengers _¥ M! ,r, Russell (2), another, and eight natives. The s.s. Sir Donald, Capt. J. Quinlan, returned from Whangaehu early this morning, with a load of 88 dumps of wool, which Bhe transhipped to the ship ITermione. The Steamer Result, Capt. Baxter, returned from Wairoa at 11 o clock this •morning, with eleven passengers uu„ some cargo. 'ihe steamer Kiwi left Castle-Point this morning, and will not arrive here before Sunday. Her time of departure has been postponed until Monday afternoon. The Union Company's s.s. Ringarooma, Capt. H. W. H. Chatfield, does not leave Wellington before to-morrow, and will arrive here at about A o'clock on Monday mornins:. Her time of departure for Northern ports has been postponed until 10 o'clock on Monday, at which time the launch will leave the wharf with tbe outward passengers.
