The Cary Company in " Les Cloches de Corneville" at the Theatre Royal to-night at 8. Entries for the Napier Rowing Club trial fours will be received at the Criterion Hotel up to 7.30 to-night. Messrs Miller and Potts will sell tomorrow, at Waipawa, furniture, &c, and a general assortment of ironmongery, &c, at 11 a.m. Tenders are invited for the Manga-te-Wainui bridge contract. Tenders are invited for the supply of coal to the New Zealand railways. ~'\ The Napier Temperance Mutual Improvement Society will meet to-morrow evening. Mr W. E. Woods notifies that he has now on hand an assortment of photographic goods, &c. Mr W. Boyd, Port Ahuriri, advertises a large stock of ship chandlery goods. Church of England special services are advertised. Tenders for the erection of the new Clarendon Hotel are invited. A grand concert will take place at Hastings on Friday evening next. The usual weekly gun drill of tha Artillery Volunteers will take place to-night at the gun shed at 7.30 o'clock.
