October 17. Notwithstanding the recent copiouß rainfall in the colony, the total quantity which has fallen during the year is still six inches below the average. October 18. Mauritius advices to the sth instant report that 500 tons of sugar have been cleared for Dunedin, and 750 for Lyttelton. Three hundred tons are loading for Port Chalmers, and 300 for Lyttelton.
