October 15. Mr John Holmes is a candidate for South Christchurcb, and Mr Henry Toomer for Stanmore. They addressed the electors last night, and each received a vote of thanks. Mr M. Dixon is announced as an additional candidate for Ashley. Heavy north-west gales have been experienced during the last two days.
