October. 13—Taiaroa, s.s., for Northern ports and Fiji. Passengers—'Messrs Kennedy, Connell, Baker, and three others. 14 —TWinm. s.s., for Wairoa with several passengers.
The steamer Kiwi. Capt. Jas. Campbell, arrived here from Wellington via the coast at 4 o'clock this morning, and was berthed at the cattle wharf by the pilot at about 8 a.m., where she discharged her cargo, consisting of some 80 tons of general goods, and a large quantity of transhipments out of the ships Grlenlora and Wairoa from London. She reports having left Wellington at 6 o'clock on Tuesday night; arrived at Te Awaiti at daylight next morning; discharged cargo, and left at 8.30 a.m.; called at Elat Point at noon, and after embarking passengers and landing cargo left again at 5 p.m. • landed cargo at Castle Point next morning, and left again at 11 a.m ; landed passengers at Cape Turnagain at 4 p.m., landed rargo at Wnangaehu at 6 pm, and arrived here as above She is to ] p «vp again for Wellington at 6 o'clock tonight. i" Union Steam Ship Company's 8.c., Taitiron,, Cant. Vortillivrny, arrived here at 10 oVlnek * esterday forenoon, and left again at 8 in the evening for Northern ports an' l Fiji. Her cari?o, some twenty tons, was ligMpred hy the ketch r hre? Brothers, and wa-i discharged at the breastwork thi.* morning. The steamers "Result and Mnori returned from Waivo'i on Wednesday night, hrinei'iß pa«i>pf>c»r!i end navgo. The s.s. Mnori is t lenvp aaain for the Bame place at 12 o'clock to-night. The Union Oompany's s.b. Ringarooma leaves Wellington this afternoon, and may be looked for here to-morrow morning. She is announced to sail for Northern ports at 6 o'clock on that evening.
The s.s. Go Ahead is expected to arrive here from Wellington to-morrow morning.
The Union Steam Ship Company's s.s. Te Anau is due herefrom Northern ports on Monday morning. The ketch Venus, Captain King, arrived here yesterday morning from Mercury Bay, with a cargo of timber for Mr Robert Holt.
The Union Company's launch Boojum left for Wairoa shortly after 12 o'olock last night, with passengers and cargo. The balance of the s.s. Te Anau'B cargo was discharged by the ketch Admiral at the breastwork this morning. (by cablb.) Mbmournh, October 13. Arrived, this morning, Union Company's steamship Arawata from the Bluff.
