CRICKET.
The Napier and Waipawa Clubs met on the Hastings ground yesterday, and the game resulted in a defeat for Waipawa on the first innings. The only noticeable feature of the game was the admirable batting of White for Napier. His 35 were made by careful all round play, and if he continues in his present form he will make a good show for the club trophy. The following are the full scores:— WAIPAWA TOWN 0. C.
