She was to leave for Northern ports at 4 p.m. The steamer Oreti, Captain A. Campbell, arrived here at an early hour this morning from Auckland and Gisbome, with a small cargo, which she discharged at the breastwort. Left the Queen-street wharf, Auckland, on aturday evening at 6.15; experienced fine weather during the whole pnssafe; arrived at G-isborne yesterday morning at 8 o'clock; left for Nnpier at 615 p.m.. arriving a* above. When oft • ap« Runaway nnd Fnst Cape on Monday evening passed a Ttetcb anH fore-an-affr. pchooner steering South, and the ketch JesHe nnd briganline Darcy Pratt bound North. She brings a cargo of 530 packages. Her advertised time of departure is fixed at 6 p.m. to-morrow. The s.s. Fairy left for Pourerere at 10 p.m. yesterday, taking a small cargo, and is to return with wool.

(by telegbaph.) Auckland, October 11. The Pacifio mail eteamer City of New York arrived from Sydney at 2 a.m. to-day, and left for Honolulu and 'Frisco at 2 p.m., with the outward English, and American mails.
