'PAKE NOTICE—That on THURSDAY, 20th Inst.. 1 it is the intention of the District Board to make a rate of Four (4d) Pence in the £ on all rateable property in the District, excepting that part known as the Township of Hastings, including North, South and East Hastings, where it is intended to levy a rats of One Shilling (Iβ) in the £ on all tjo rateable property.
