To effect that desirable object the Company propose to Lease the Napier Town Hall Reserve, or some other suitable ground, and to make such improvements as will'be considered necessary. The Income of the Company will be derivable from the rents aceiuing from the various Athletic Clubs, Friendly Societies, or others requiring the use of the Ground for Sports, Fetes, etc., and it is estimated that extremely moderate charges for such purposes will amount to sufficient to carry on the business of the Company and leave a balance to be devoted to further improvements and ornamentation of the Grounds, as the Shareholders deem advisable. Such a Ground is much required and will be an ornament and convenience to the town, and the iacilities afforded for Athletic excercise cannot fail to be greatly conducive to health, and also the means of saving considerable expense and inconvenience to the members of the various Cluba and Friendly Societies, who incur heavy travelling expenses in proceeding to hold their fesliviliea and games at a distance from town.
