I have examined the Samphs of M'Ewra'a Bottlkd Alb submitted to me, and find that it contains - Alcobol by weighs. 6*40 per cent; or by volume, 8*55 per cent. Extractive matter, 306 per cent.; Acid matter, 0 - 17 per cent. I have also examined the Alb for such deleterious Ingredients as are tomctimes added to Beer, and have found no indication of tbeir presence.
