Agricultural ShowHAWKE'S BAY AGRICULTURAL and PASTORAL SOCIETY'S GRAND ANNUAL SHOW, Will be held at the SHOW GROUNDS, HASTINGS, ON WEDNESDAY, AND THURSDAY, 12tii akd 13th OCTOBER, 1881, When upwards ol £900 will be offered in Prize 3. Visitors by train will be landed on the Show Grounds Artillery Baud will be in attendance. GATES open to the Public after 11a.m. on Wednesday. 12ih October. Price of admission, 53; and on Thursday, 13th, from 9 to 12, admission 2s 6d; after that time, Is Cardp, to include both days, 5s each. Admission to Grand Stand, 2s Cd. Carriages—Admission, ss; horsemen, 2s 6d; horsemen and occupants of carriages also pay the ordinary charges for admission. The trial of Sheep Do;s will take place on the Ground on Wednesday, at 2 p.m. The Horse Parade will take place in front ol the Grand Stand at 2 p.m. on Thursday. The jumping matches will take place in front of the Grandstand at 3 p.m. on Thursday. The supporters of the Society are reminded that their annual subscriptions are due, and are respectfully requested to pay the eameat an early date to the Secretary, F. D. Luckie, or the Hon.
