ARRIVALS

September, 29—Aspasia, fore-and-aft schooner, from Lyttelton. 29—Mary Warlley, three-masted schooner, from West/port. 29—Boojum, s.s., from Wairoa. Passengers —Messrs H. Locke, W. Cato, H. Baker, and several others.

The fore-and-aft schooner -Aspasia, Captain Thomas Moore, arrived here this morning from Lyttelton, which place she left last Saturday, with a strong southerly wind : took shelter under Cnpe Campbell on Sunday night, find from thence experienced Variable westerly winds to arrival. Sho brings a full cargo of oats, wheat, and potatoes, consigned to order. The three-masted schooner Mary Wndley, Captain K. Lindfors, arrived in the roadstead early this morning from Westport, after a six day's passage, and was towed inside by the s.s. Sir Donald and berthed at the breastwork by noon. She brings a full cargo of coal. The Union Company's s.s. Boojum, Captain W. Maloney, arrived from Wairoa at 12.30 p.m. to-day, with a small cargo and a number of passengers. The Union Company's steamers Eotorua and Arawata are due here on Saturday morning, the former from Melbourne, sailing North at 4 p.m., and the latter from Northern ports, sailing for Melbourne and the South at 11 a.m. The s.s. Kiwi does not leave Gisborne before this evening, and will therefore not arrive here before to-morrow morning. The s.s. Sir Donald goes out this afternoon to tow in the Pania buoy, which is to be overhauled and painted.
