Mr Barstow, R.M., has resigned. The police have no clu£ to the perpetrator of the robbery at Arthur's store.
Seventeen cases are set down for hearing at the criminal sessions of the Supreme Court, which opens on Monday. They include, rape, indecent assault (two cases), defacing currency, sending letter threatening to murder, robbery with violence (two cases), breaking and entering (two cases), and larceny (eight cases).
