NEW PLYMOUTH.
September 27. The steamer Hinemoa anchored in the roadstead this morning from the Manakau. She brings arms and ammunition. Titikowaru and his people, numbering about two hundred in all, have left their settlement at Mawhitiwhiti and proceed to Parihaka. They carried with them all their goods and chattels. They burned down some of their whares before leaving. They are well-supplied with axes, fern-hooks, etc., having purchased a considerable number of those implements lately. The natives at Parikaka have warned the Constabulary that theyiotend shortly to proceed to the Waimate plains for the purpose of molesting the settlers there. They intend to commence ploughing there.
