The s.s. THwi, Captain James Campbell, leaves Wellington for this port this afternoon. She will arrive here early on Monday morning. an rl , after discharging her Napier cargo, will proceed to Gf-isborne at 3 p.m., as per advertisement. This will afford an excellent opportunity for any one wishing to mate a flying trip to G-isborne, as the Kiwi leaves there on the return journey on Tuesday evening, arriving here early on Wednesday morning. The s.s. Sir Tionald, Captain. Quinlan, returned from Blackhead and Waimarama yesterday afternoon, after having successfully landed her cargo. The s.s. Result, Capt. W. E. Baxter, arrived from Wairoa to-day The Silver Cloud was brought inside by the pilot and berthed alongside the breastwork early this morning. A ship was in the offing this morning, which will no doubfc prove to be the Hermione from Auckland. As the wind is very light sho will not get np to the anchorage till late this evening. The s.s. Oreti is advertised to steam for Gisborne and Auckland at 3 p.m. on Monday next.
