(Before His Honor Judge Kenny.) BANKRUPTCY. Mr Lee applied for an order of dis. charge on behalf of Messrs Creamer and Gribble. The report of the trustees having been read, an order for immediate discbarge was granted. JEPPARES V. THE NATIONAL BANK. Mr Lascelles, for the defendants, applied tbat tbe bearing of this case .hould be postponed until Thursday, October 6tb, on the ground that Mr Hamilton, formerly manager of the bank, and an important witness, was in Christchurch or Dunedin, and could not be here next Thursday. He also applied that he might be allowed to file his defence on Thursday next. Mr McLean, for the plaintiff, had no wish to raise any objection to the application, but he thought that he should have had notice of the application. The Court then granted the application.
