Skuthorpe has written to Sir Henry Parkes, the Premier, demanding £6000 for the relics of the Leichardt expedition.
Small-pox continues to prevail in the city, and some fresh cases have been reported to the Health Board. At the same time it is currently reported that seversl cases exi9t in private residences, but that secrecy is being observed regarding them.
