THE REGISTRATION OFFICE.
[To the Editor ai the Daily Texeobaph.] Sir, —Permit me to pass a few remarks in reference to the bad accommodation in the Deeds Registration Office at Napier. As I have transacted business in several of the Registration Offices throughout the colony, perhaps I am competent to express an opinion. In the first place the building is much too small to accommodate the public in a large town like this, where business is rapidly increasing ; in the next place, there is insufficient light; and last, but not least, the ventilation is very bad, in fact it could not be worse. Apologising for the space I have taken up in the columns of your paper, and trusting that the authorities will be pleased to take steps to remedy the existing evil and procure more suitable premises to enable the public to transact their business without suffering the very great inconvenience they have hitherto been subject to, —I am, &c, Fro Bono Fcblioo. Napier, September 15, 1881.
