It has transpired that a meeting of the Council of Notable?, which had been summoned by the Khedive to suggest a course of action to be pursued at the present crisis of Egyptian affairs, was held to-day. The demands of the military were discussed at length, and the action of the officers met with general disapproval. It was ultimately resolved that Cherif Pasha should be requested to reconsider his decision of yesterday, and to accept the Presidency of the Council. He was at length prevailed upon to accede to the wishes of the notables, aDd is now engaged in the formation of a Cabinet.
The crisis in this country has now terminated, tbe leaders of the military rising having tendered their complete submission to the Khedive. Cherif Pasha has completed the formation of a new Cabinet, and he assumes the position of President of the Council of Ministers. Haidar Pasha is appointed Minister of Finance, and Mahomed Pacha Minister of War.
