No foreiern cheap bitter, such as Quassia —no Poisonous Drucr, euch aa Strychnine, Picric, Acid or Cocculue Indicua. Nothing but 'ihe Products of Pure Malt and Hops, brewed and fermented in a cool atmosphere, aud bottled with care. Admirers of first-elans British Beer may use this brand aa at present offered for sale without disappointment. As a pure wholesome Bottlkd Alb it may bo strongly recommended. WAI. I have examined the Samplk of M'Ewin's Rottlbd Alb submitted to me, and find chat it contains - Alcohol by weight, 5'H) per cent; or by volume, 655 per cent. Extractive iu!t<ter, 306 per cent.; Acid matter, 0 17 per cent. I have also examined the Ale for such deleterious ingredients as are sometimes added to Beer, and have found no indication of their presence. The three first laid down by the Committee for Wines and Beers for the late International Exhibition, as those to which especial prominence would be piven, were—lst, Low alcoholic per centage : 2nd, Freedom from acidity ; 3rd Absence of fusel oil; and all these are fulfilled in this sample, I remain, yours truly, (Signed) W.
