Telegrams are to hand from Tunis announcing that renewed fighting has taken place between the French troops and the Arab insurgents in the neighborhood of Gallipona. The European inhabitants of the town are panicstricken, and have taken refuge on board the shipping in port, and the foreign consuls resident there have telegraphed to their Governments for assistance.
