NOTBINO BUT '1118 PRODUCTS OF PURE MALT AKD Hops, brewed and fermented in a cool atmosphere, and bottled with care. Admirers of first-class British Beer may use this brand as at present offered for sale without disappointment. As a pure wholesome Bottled Ale it may be strongly recommended. WM. I have examined the Samplb of M'Ewin's Bottled Alb submitted to me, and find that it contains — Alcobol by weight, 540 per cent; or by voluinfi, 6 - 55 per cent. Extractive master, 306 per cent.; Acid matter, 017 per cent. I have also examined the Ale for such deleterious ingredients as are sometimes added to Beer, and have found uo indication of their presence. The three flret conditions laid down by the Committee for Wines and Beers for the late International Exhibition, as those to which especial prominence would be given, were—lst, Low alcoholic percentage: 2nd, Freedom from acidity; 3rd Ahsence of fusel oil; and all these ire fulfilled in this sample.
