September 6. At the wool sale to-day 11,800 bales were catalogued. The tone of tbe auction showed that prices have a hardening tendency. The carcasses of beetbrought per steamship Protos are found to be in good condition, but have not as yet been sold. The Orient steamship Cuzco has arrived at Plymouth. Her cargo ot frozen meat, consisting of 5000 sheep, etc., is pronounced in excellent order. The Bask of Australasia has declared a dividend at the rate of six pencent. for the past half-year. Numerous collisions have taken place at several places in Ireland during the past few days between the police and the people, and much disorder still prevails in many parts of the country.
