AUCKLAND.
September 7. The steamer Albion, which arrived to-day from Sydney, has gone into quarantine. She brings the four thoroughbred mares purchased by Sir Hercules Robinson for the Auckland itml Company. Mr Williams, the branch manager of the National Insurance Company here, was presented with an address and fifty sovereigns on leaving to take a prominent position in the head office at Dunedin.
