SYDNEY.

September S. Two fresh cases of small-pox are announced, the sufferers being a man named Caulfield now in the infirmary, and a woman named Margaret Garret, residing on Botany road. Mrs Rogers died of the disease last night at Pyrmont. It has now been ascertained that several of the quarantined cases are not small-pox at all. Detailed accounts by persons recently released from quarantine endorse fully the statement previously made of maladministration at the station.

It is probable that another sculling match will be arranged between Rush and Laycock for £200.
