Noising but 'iim Products op Pure Malt and Hofs, brewed and fermented in a cool atmosphere, and bottled with care. Admirers of first-class British Beer may use this brand as at present offered fov sale without disappointment. As a pure wholesome BottiißD Alb it may be strongly recommended. WM. I have examined the Samplr of M'Ewin's Rottlbd Ai/k submitted to me, and find that it contains Alcohol by weight, 640 per cent; or by volume, 6 - 55 per cent Extrnctive matter, 306 per cent.; Acid matter, 017 per cent. 1 have also examined the Ale for such deleterious ingredients as arr? sometimes added to Beer, and have found no indication of their presence. The three first eonrlitions bid down by the Committee for Winks and Beers for the late International Exhibition, as those to -which especial prominence would bo given, were—lst, Low alcoholic per centage : 2nd, Freedom from noidity ; 3rd Absence- of fusel oil; and all these we fulfillod ia this sample, I remain, yours truly, (Signed) W.
