August SO. At the wool sale to-day 8600 bales were offered, making a total of 65,100 catalogued since the opening. A good demand was experienced. Inferior and .faulty wools of all kinds end fleeces are in favor of buyers. August 31. It is officially announced that the Right Hon. B. W. Brand, Speaker of the House of Commons, has been created a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath.
