(raoM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Wellington, September I*. In the Legislative Council yesterday th<f Hon. G-. Buckley moved, "That the Council should adjourn to Tuesday week." After a long argument the motion was rejected by 17 to 11. When the numbers were announced,' the Hon. Mr Reynolds gave notice to move that the Council adjourn to A Wedsesday week. Then the Hons. Robinson, Nurse, Holmes, and Reynolds, gave notice to ask for leave of absence, all on private affairs, whereupon the Hon. Colonel Brett gave notice to move that no members shall leave for the rest of the session. The stonewalling on the Representation Bill schedules was continued last night, and the House is still sitting.
