A meeting of the Hospital Oomroittee will be held on Friday next, and no doubt, there will be a thorough consideration of the past mismanagement of the institution, and some practical suggestions for its future government. The public are greatly interested in the well
being oi the bo.pita!, and the _i_oovery tbat a committe. of gentlemen who are known tc have tbe good of tho institution at heart, and who were looked upon as practical business men, have hitherto been suable to keep the affairs of a comparatively small institution in a satisfactory condition, has somewhat startled clieni. No doubt the desirability of placing some one in charge of tbe internal management of the hospital, whose character will be a guarantee for efficiency, will present itself to tbe Committee ; and such radical char.ges will be made in the whole arrangements as will give the supporters of tbe institution full confid.nce in its future welfare.
