OAMARU.

August 30. A house belonging to Jarvis White was destroyed at ten o'clock on Sunday night. Before the brigade reached the spot the building had been almost entirely consumed. No clue has yet been found to the origin. The insurances on the building were on the stock £100, and tbe furniture £25, all in the New Zealand office.
