NEW PLYMOUTH.
August 29. At the inquest held on the body of Mr M'Lean, who was killed on board the Hawea on Saturday, a verdict of accidental death was returned. M'Lean joined the Hawea on the 18tb June at Dunedin as able seaman. He is a native of Scotland, and aged 24 years. He is not married, but has an uncle in Dunedin. He was a fine able young man.
