CHRISTCHURCH.
August 27. At a public meeting last night it was resolved to form a company to promote the cultivation of linseed, and the manufacture of linseed oil. Efforts are being made to induce the Tramway Company to run tram cars on Sunday. Tbe interprovincial football match, Otago v. Canterbury, takes place this afternoon. The teams are considered to be very equally matched.
