SYDNEY.
August 27. Two fresh cases of small-pox have been reported to the Health Board today. The sufferers are a girl named Wales residing at Woollahra, and James O'Neill, a Marist Brother, of Abercrombie- street A number of persons were released from quarantiue last night. They are, however, reticent as to the treatment they have received pending legal advice. Enough has, however, transpired to show that there has been gross neglect and mismanagement at the station. It is stated that shoes and clothes of those in quarantine were destroyed, and were never replaced. Facts which have come to light have created a deep sensation and a feeling of indignation.
