WAIROA.

August 26. The steamer Eesult, which grounded on the bar yesterday, got off the same afternoon. The damage sustained was the loss of a boat and cooking galley, and injury to some luggage. The pilot is blamed for not hoisting the signal. There is no properly appointed pilot boat, or else the vessel would have been got off at once.
