It is notified that Mr G, T. Cross has been appointed trustee in the estate of James Taylor, of Kaikora, a debtor. A meeting of the Clive Bowing Club tonight at 7.30. Creditors of the late Thomas Beckett, of Frasertown, are requested to send in their accounts. A general meeting of the creditors of B. Bourgeois will be held on the 25th instant. The trustees summon a meeting of creditors in the estate of Creamer and Gribble, bankrupts, for the 30th instant. Messrs Monteith and Co.'s cattle sale at the Shamrock yards has been postponed to the 31st instant. A collie dog has been lost, and also a collie bitch. Tenders are invited for the erection of shops at Hastings. The next rink takes place to-morrow evening. A notice is inserted re persons trespassing on John Whelan's paddock or premises at Taradale. Mr Lyndon holds a furniture sale on Thursday, and a land and property sale on Friday. Plans for Messrs Knight Bros, new building at Hastings can be seen with the architect Mr Cooper, and also at Hastings. The meeting of the Napier Bowing Club, originally fixed for to-morrow evening, has been postponed till the following Tuesday, at the same time and place. Tenders for road metalling close afc the H.B. County Council office at noon tomorrow. Persons who have in their possession Snider carbines enumerated elsewhere must return them at once to Captain Garner, N.A.V., or legal proceedings will be instituted for their recovery.
