Malcolm, arrived here at 6.15 a.m. this day, and was tendered about ) o'clock by the steam launch Boojum for passengers, and tbe ketch Three Brotlurs for cargo. The following is the report of her passage, for which we thank Mr Mtcmeikan, her purser: —Left Auckland at 1 X) p.m. on the 20th ; passed the "East Cape at 0 a.m. on the 21st, and anebored "off Gisbome at 4 p.m. ; L»ft again at 8.30 p.m., and arrived as above. She experienced fine weather, but a very heavy S.E. swell, till arrival. The outward mai's and passengers for Southern ports and Melbourne were taken off by the launch at one o'clock, and tbe Bteamer resumed her voyage for the South at about two o'clock. Tbe s.s. TTiwi. Capt. Tames Campbell, arrived here at art early hour this morning from Welling'on, which place she left on Saturday night. Her mails were landed by the launch Boojum at 7 o'clock, but the steamer herself will he unable to cross the bar hefnre davligbt, to-morrow mornmr;, owing to its very shallow etate. The tonsail schooner 'Cleopatra, Capt. S. Keeble, i* ballasting at tbe breastwork today, preparatory to sailing for Greymouth. The s.s. Oreti, Captain Campbell, arrived in the bnv at an early hour this morning from Gisborne and Auckland, hut will he unable to get inside bpfore this afternoon at the earliest, owing to the shallowness of the bar. Her mails and passengers were landed by the s.s. Boojum at about 7 o'clock. She is advertised to steam for Oisborne and Auckland at 5 a.m. to-morrow. Tbe stealer Maori r"aprain Henderson, sails for tbe Wairoa at 7 o'clock to-morrow morning, taking passengers and a good cargo.
