THE HOSPITAL.

[To the Editor of the Daily Telegeaph.] Bie, —I would ask you to allow me to contradict a statement made by an anonymous writer in this morning's paper to the effect that the hospital accounts never been audited. Up to the 31st December last, when I retired from the Hospital Committee and treasurer ship, the accounts were audited every three months, and quarterly statements ing receipts and expenditure, assets and liabilities, regularly sent to the Colonial Secretary's office as required by Government, and I believe that this has been V done since the date mentioned.—l am, &c, C. B. Winteh.
