I have also examined the Ale for such deleterious ingredients as are sometimes added to Beer, and have found no indication of their presence. The three first conditions laid down by the Committee for Wines and Beers for the late Interna, tional Exhibition, as thoso to which especial prominence would be given, were—lst, Low alcoholic per centajje : 2nd, Freedom from acidity ; 3rd Absence of fusel oil; and all these ire fulfilled in this sample.
