From Messrs. P. Cunningham and Co.'s monthly report, dated Christchurch, Ist of A uplift, we take the following:—Since our last circular there have been spurts in ■' a Fnsliph whent market, which holders of wheat, in tliis> country Imve tnfc<»n advantage of. anr! hnvn :it prices rnnerin? from 45s to 6d ppr qunrtor cf i. ; the bulk of our etivk hrtp now pold at ahove prices, and we do not think more than three or four cargoes will lenvp for Fnglnnd aftc 'his elate, nnr! we slionld not be surprised if al. the end of the season we run considerably short- for local requi'-ementd. Trico for wheat io-dny ranges from 4s 3d to 4s Gd per bushel, according to quality. Freights have been dull, and there is no demand for ships, :-.-ki we do not anticipate there will be until the wool souson commences. Oats are in fair demand, and sales have been made at 2s to 2s 3d ppr bushel. Tn barley very little is doing, and one or two large shipments arej being made to London. Flour is without alteration. The potato market is very dull in consequence of the fall in value at Sydney and Melbourne ; the quantity hrre is not very large, and will be worked off before the end of c eptember. Peven ships are now on the berth for London, five ships aro chartered to load at Lyttleton, &c, and 59 ships hay» cleared with this season's grain for the United Kingdom.
