LONDON.
August 9. In the House of Commons to-day the report on the amendments made in the Irish Land Eill by the House of Lords was brought up for consideration. After a debate the whole of the amendments, which affected tbe principles of the measure as agreed to by the House of Commons, were rejected by large majorities.
