POULTRY AND CANARY SHOW.

JThe third annua|ehow of tbeHawke'a Bay Poultry and Canary Association wai opened in the Protestant Hall yesterday by His Worship the Major. There waafeti a good attendance of members and| visitors. The show itself is a remarkably good one, and although the exhibits are not so numerons as last year their quality is higher. The Brahmaa are on the whole excellent. Mr Sainsbury has been very successful in Hamburghs receiving the champion prize of the Association for a fina pair of gold-peucilled Hami burghs. The principal feature of the show is undoubtedly the game birds, The'sbow of canaries and of dairy produce is remarkably good. The following is.a list of prizes:— ' ' Prize List. Class 1.
