At the inquest this morning on Jeffery Williams, who hung himself in a blacksmith's shop in Victoria-street yesterday, the jury returned a verdict of temporary insanity. To-day is observed as a holiday on account of the Hunt Club steeplechase meeting, the business places and most of the shops being closed.
