ARRIVALS, .' ' • July. 4—-Kiwi, s.s., from Wellington and Castle Point. Passenger from Caatle Point— Master Cross.

The s.s. Kiwi, Capt. Jas. Campbell, arrived from Wellington at 4 o'clock this morning, having left that place at 8 p.m. on Tuesday ; arrived at Castle Point at eleven o'clock next day ; landed a small quantity of cargo, and left at noon, arriving here as above. She was brought inside and moored at the cattle wharf at 10 o'clock, where she discharged her cargo of about 160 tons during the day, consisting of a large quantity of transhipments out of the Mary Low and Waimea, besides a threshing machine and other general cargo. She leaves to-night at 9 o'clock, with the football team, and other passen<iersThe steamers Result and Maori are expected to get away for Wairoa at roidniaht to-night with passengers and cargo. The latter calls at Mohawka on her return voynge. The s.s. Sir Donald steams for Blackhead to-night, with a full load of timber and .tores. The s.s. Fairy will probably get away for Mahia to-night. The brigantine Linda Weber, Captain G. \<A! has ballasted, and is expected to be .'ihii* to get out over the bar this afternoon. The sea in the bay has considerably subsided during the night, and it is now tolerably smooth on tho bar, but the soundings taken this morning shewed barely nine feet of water. The movements of the Union Company's steamers this week are as follows: —The s.s. Kotomahana, Capt. Underwood, leaves Auckland to-day, and will arrive here at daylight on Saturday morning, sailing again for Southern ports and Melbourne at 11 a.m. The s.s. Te Anau, Capt. Carey, leaves Wellington to-morrow afternoon, will arrive here on Saturday forenoon, and is advertised to leave for v orthern ports at 4 p.m.
