LONDON
August 2. In the House of Lords to-day the Irish Land Bill was read a second time after a brief debate.
The trial of the two men M'Grath and M'Kevitt, on a charge of attempting to destroy the Liverpool Town Hall on the 10th June last, was concluded today. Both prisoners were found guilty. M'Grath has been sentenced to penai servitude for life, and M'Kevitt to fifteen years' imprisonment.
