ARRIVALS; July.

DEPARTURES. July. 30—Rotcmahana, s.s., for Northern porta. Passengers—Mesdames Herman, and Fisher and 3 children, Miss Townley, Mr and Mrs Toms and 2 children, Mr and Mrs Scott, Mr and Mrs Wilson and 2 children, Messrs Hutchinson (3), D. M'Donald, G. Hall, J. V. Brown, Scarfe, H. Lascelles, and Banbury; Masters Hutchinson (2), and about 85 original. 30—Oreti, s.s., for Northern ports.

The Union Steam Ship Company's s.s. Botomahnna, Captain Thomas Underwood, steamed for Northern ports at about eight o'clock on Saturday evening, taking 200 fat sheep, v shipped by Mr Thomas Bishop for the Auckland market. The steamer Oreti, Captain Campbell, left for Northern ports at 7 o'clock on Saturday night, taking a quantity of timber and general goods. The steamers Maori and Result are now loading up for Wairoa, and will leave as soon as the southerly weather now prevailing moderates. The lighters Admiral and Sir Donald discharged their cargoes, transhipped out of the Saturday's Union boats, at the breastwork to-day. The Union Company's steamer Te Anau arrived at the Bluff at 6.20 o'clock this morning from Melbourne, bringing the Suez mail. The Union Company's s.s. Rotorua arrived at Wellington at 7.30 p.m. yesterday. Tho "Rotorua left Napior on Saturday at 2 p.m. She had to meet the strong southerly weather which lengthened her passage to 30 hours. The steamer Kiwi will leave Wellington for this port to-morrow evening. The departure of the Silver Cloud for New South Wales has been postponed till the sth instant.

[BY CABLE.] Sydkey, July 30. Arrived, this morning, Pacific Mail Company's steamship Australia from San Francisco via Auckland.

(BY TELEGBAPH.) AtrcKtAifD, August 1. Arrived, Ashmore, ship, from London, 93 days from port to port, with 46 passengers. Her mizzen sails were carried nway three weeks ago.
